The Fairbanks Summer Arts Festival, 2-weeks of study-performance opportunities in all art forms, encourages both personal growth and arts appreciation regardless of level of accomplishment. On the University of Alaska Fairbanks campus under the Midnight Sun approximately 1,000 adults register and participate with nearly 100 guest artists in 125 workshops in music, visual arts, literary arts, dance/ice skating and healing arts with 45 performances. (Ice skating is open to any age. Dancing minimum age is 10.)

Steel, Brass, and Wind

Steel Pans

The Festival Steel Drum ensembles will start off tonight's concert with an exciting and enthusiastic performance. After intermission, the concert will continue with Brass Choir, then Wind Ensemble. Tickets are available at the Davis Hall box office, which be open 9am-noon, 1:30pm-5pm, and 7pm-8:30pm. Performance starts at 8pm, and takes place in Salisbury Theatre.

Legacy of Love Fund: Honor Jo Ryman Scott by contributing to this fund that will be used as an operating reserve for the Festival.
