Landscape Composition

Materials to be provided by student

Required items:

• 2 Sketchbooks ( one "Pocket" size about 3"x5" and one larger about 6"x8" or 8"x11")
• Soft pencils (2B or 4B)
• Fine tip Marker (such as Sharpie Ultra Fine Point or other permanent art marker)
• Ruler (try to find one that is clear so you can see through it)
• Student's choice of painting medium (on final day, student will do a finished painting with their choice of watercolor, acrylic, oil, pastel or colored pencil)

Suggested items:

• Markers in Black and two shades of gray (30 percent and 60 percent) For example, Prismacolor makes gray markers in either warm or cool grays There are other brands available also
• No 8 or 10 watercolor brush, sepia paint, and small palette and water container
